Vintage top from the 1930's. Customer found top in a closet and requested that the top be quilted and bound only. Some material was compromised due to age and top was in need of a good soak. Because of age and integrity of fabric, I advised that the completed quilt be soaked and then air dried.

Vintage Quilts and Repairs

Another quilt repair job. Remember ---- quilt repairs don't just apply to antique or vintage quilts or tops. This was a top completed about 8 years ago and there were numerous repairs made to this prior to quilting the top.

Before and after pictures of quilt repair. Patched blocks that were damaged, added new backing for stabilization and re-quilted and bound entire quilt.
